Coming February 4th, 2022: Protocol V - The new studio album from drumming legend Simon Phillips and his Grammy nominated band, Protocol. Featuring seven, brand new compositions, the album includes Alex Sill on guitars, Otmaro Ruiz on keyboards, Jacob Scesney on saxophones, and Ernest Tibbs on bass. The instrumentation, having been expanded to a quintet format, launches the group into sonic territory familiar to fans of Chick Corea's Elektric Band in the late 1980s. Strands of DNA from other iconic artists like John McLaughlin, Tony Williams, Allan Holdsworth, Pat Metheny Group, and Jan Hammer are woven throughout.
